Jose "Papo" Gonzalez Cruz Obituary

Jose “Papo” Luis Gonzalez Cruz 63 of Pawtucket passed away on March 10, 2022 at Orchard Viewing Nursing Home in East Providence. Mr. Gonzalez Cruz was born on October 20, 1958 in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico and was the son of Santo Mojica and Julia E. Mojica.

Upon graduating high school Jose entered the work force as an auto mechanic. He worked for the Yellow Cab Company for many years prior to his illness.

In addition to his mother Julia, Jose is survived by his sister Caroline Mojica and his brother Javier Ivan Gonzalez and Santo Mojica III. He also leaves behind his girlfriend, Julie Aponte.

Visitation will be held on Monday March 14th from 10:30-12:30 in The Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI 02863. A prayer service will take place following the visitation. Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery in Pawtucket.
