Jose A. Vega, 62, of Cranston, passed away sustaining a head injury while working on his new home. He was the Husband of Maria Diaz and they would have celebrated their 25th wedding anniversary April 26th. He was born in Vega Baja, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Isidoro Vega and Carmen Feliciano. He previously been employed as a warehouse worker for Pet Food Experts. Jose was also known as a Mr. Fix It. He was able and willing to help anyone who needed a little maintenance. Jose enjoyed baseball and also loved playing the game.
Besides his wife he leaves three step daughters, Yanira Rentas of Cranston, Sofia Rentas of Florida and Yanitza Rentas of West Warwick. He also leaves a brother Jesus Vega of Woonsocket and five sisters, Carmen Laura Vega, Xiomara Vega and Wilmari Vega all of Massachusetts, Carmen Louise Vega of Cranston and Migdalia Vega in Puerto Rico. He was the Grandfather of Seven and Great Grandfather of five.
VISITATION, FRIDAY evening from 6 until 8 PM in the COELHO HOME, Central Falls. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend.
