Jose Juan Ramos Villafane

Jose Juan Ramos Villafane 59 of Providence passed away unexpectedly at his home.  He was born in Guayama, Puerto Rico, son of the late Felicita Villafane and Juan Ramos. 

A good man with a kind heart, Jose was also a hero, literally a hero.  In a selfless act, Mr. Ramos once saved a child from being hit by a car, pushing the child out of the way and hitting hit and seriously injured himself.  He was a great Dad and an amazing grandfather.  Jose was cool and he knew how to make people feel good about themselves.  Nothing phased him, he was always acting funny and goofy, always making sure to have others smiling and laughing. 

Jose Juan Ramos Villafane is survived by his children; Israel Ramos, Kasandra Ramos, and Daisy Ramos.  He was the proud grandfather of Isabella Carrasquillo, his “Bella”.  He is also survived by the mother of his children and dear friend Elizabeth Torres.

In accordance with Jose’s wishes all services will remain private.  Arrangements are under the care of the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI.
