Jose Ramon Narvaez

Jose Ramon Narvaez of Pawtucket passed away on the morning of June 28, 2025 at Summit Commons in Providence at the age of 88 years old.  He was the beloved husband of Patria Narvaez.

Mr. Narvaez was born on April 3, 1937 in Sealis, Puerto Rico, son of the late Marta Guevaya and Catalino Narvaez.  Jose worked as a custodian and as a cook for several years.  He also worked on cargo ships, where his strong work ethic was appreciated and admired.  Mr. Narvaez was a true family man, who possessed a kind and friendly nature.  He enjoyed people in general.  Jose also loved to fish and enjoyed music.

In addition to his wife, Patricia, Jose Ramon Narvaez is survived by his children; Maria Narvaez of Attleboro, MA, Sonia Narvaez of Central Falls, Wanda Narvaez of Central Falls, Marta Narvaez of Manhattan, New York City, Norma Iris Martinez of Central Falls, Merisol Narvaez of Providence, Jeffrey Narvaez of Central Falls and Joselito Narvaez of Central Falls.  Mr. Narvaez is reunited with his daughter the late Ana Narvaez and his son the late Jose Ramon Narvaez.  Jose was the proud grandfather of 28 grandchildren and 48 great grandchildren. 

Visiting Hours to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend will be held on Wednesday July 2nd from 4-7pm in the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI.  A prayer service will be celebrated at 7pm in the funeral home.  Burial will be private.
