Jose R. Plaza

Jose R. Plaza of Pawtucket passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on the afternoon of December 10, 2025.  Mr. Plaza was 44 years old.  He was the beloved son of Carmen Perez and the late Edelmiro Plaza. 

Jose was born on February 2, 1981 in Yauco, Puerto Rico and was educated there.  He moved from New York prior to settling in Central Falls & Pawtucket for the last 20 years. Mr. Plaza was a talented auto mechanic and had a passion for cars.  He was an excellent father and grandfather, a beloved son and a great brother.

Mr. Plaza is survived by his beloved daughters, Luciana Plaza, Denise Plaza and Danilza Plaza.  He was a proud grandfather of 2 grandchildren.  Jose is survived by 20 siblings and many nieces and nephews. 

Visiting Hours to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend will be held on Sunday December 14th from 5-9pm in the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI.  Jose's funeral will be held at 9am on Monday December 15th in the funeral home.  Burial will follow in Woodlawn North Purchase Cemetery 825 North Main St. in Attleboro, MA.  

Jose R. Plaza, de Pawtucket, falleció en su hogar rodeado de su querida familia la tarde del 10 de diciembre de 2025.  El señor Plaza tenía 44 años.  Era el querido hijo de Carmen Pérez y del fallecido Edelmiro Plaza. 

José nació el 2 de febrero de 1981 en Yauco, Puerto Rico, y fue educado allí.  Se mudó desde Nueva York antes de establecerse en Central Falls y Pawtucket durante los últimos 20 años. El señor Plaza era un talentoso mecánico de automóviles y sentía pasión por los coches.  Fue un excelente padre y abuelo, un hijo querido y un gran hermano.

El Sr. Plaza deja en vida a sus queridas hijas, Luciana Plaza, Denise Plaza y Danilza Plaza.  Fue un orgulloso abuelo de dos nietos.  Jose deja 20 hermanos y numerosos sobrinos y sobrinas. 

El horario de visitas, al que familiares y amigos están cordialmente invitados a asistir, se celebrará el domingo 14 de diciembre de 5:00 a 9:00 pm, en la funeraria Charles Coelho, 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI.  El funeral de José se celebrará a las 9 de la mañana del lunes 15 de diciembre en la funeraria.  El entierro tendrá lugar en el cementerio Woodlawn North Purchase, 825 North Main St., en Attleboro, MA.
