Jose Lopez

Jose Lopez, 45 of Central Falls, passed away on November 25, 2024, at The Miriam Hospital in Providence following a period of declining health.  Jose was the beloved father of Jose Lopez and the cherished stepfather of Tania Hernandez, both of Central Falls.

Mr. Lopez was born on March 23, 1979, in San Bartolo Oz Calapan Hidalgo Municipio de Charango, Mexico.  He was the son of Matilde Cruz Olvera and the late Alfonso Juan Cruz.  Jose immigrated to the United States in the early 2000’s.  He had an incredible work ethic which suited him well for his work in the roofing industry.  Mr. Lopez was employed for several years by RCH Roofing Corporation, based in Marshfield, MA.

Jose was a great friend to anyone who knew him, and he had an infectious personality.  He was so full of life and enjoyed dancing and attending rodeos.  Mr. Lopez was a true Spanish Cowboy in every sense of the word.  His memory will be cherished by all who knew him.

In addition to his children and his mother Jose Lopez is survived by several brothers and sisters who lived in Mexico.  He also leaves his significant other Sheny Martinez of Attleboro. 

Visiting Hours will be held on Saturday November 30th from 5-8pm in the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls.  Burial will take place at a later date in Mexico.
