Jose Antonio Hernandez Garcia

Jose Antonio Hernandez Garcia, 41, of Central Falls died suddenly while at home on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Born April 17, 1980 in Río Piedras, San Juan, Puerto Rico, he was one of four children born to Jose A. Hernandez and Carmen Garcia Rivera. 

A jack of all trades, Jose was a dedicated entrepreneur who especially enjoyed changing his surroundings through construction and contracting. He was an adoring father to his four children and was a beloved son and brother. He proudly served his family in any way he could and provided much needed support to his mother especially after the passing of his sister Yaritza earlier this year. 

Jose is survived by his devoted family: his mother and father; his girlfriend, Lizzy; his sisters, Carmen Ireis Torres Garcia and Karen Hernandez both of Providence; his four daughters, Coralis and Pearle both of Puerto Rico, Marily and Jocelyn both of Central Falls; three grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and his family within the church.
