Joanne Marie (Duffy) Buzzerio

Joanne m. Buzzerio, 60 years old, passed away peacefully at Hope Hospice of RI in Providence, after a brave battle with an illness. She was the wife of Albert A. Buzzerio and had been married 41 years. Joanne was born in Providence, a daughter of Francis Duffy and Delphine Viera. She grew up in Fox Point, and had a colorful personality, enjoyed arts & crafts and loved her dog Coco. She enjoyed the beach, enjoyed fishing and was a 'city girl' at heart.

 Besides her husband, she is survived by three sons, Daniel of Ithica, NY, Justin of west Warwick and Kyle of Pawtucket. She also leaves a brother Francis Duffy of Warwick and two sisters, Patricia Courtemanche of No. Kingstown and Jeannie Duffy of Hope Valley, nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Maryann Andrade.  

Arrangements were under the care of the Coelho Funeral Home, Central Falls.
