Janice Marie (Ahearn) Kelly

Janice Marie Kelly 54 of Attleboro, MA passed away on June 18, 2024 at Sturdy Memorial Hospital in Attleboro.  She was born on January 2, 1970 in Boston, MA to her parents Jack Ahern and the late Anne Ahern. 

Mrs. Kelly moved out of Boston when she was young and grew up in Plymouth, MA, later moving to Attleboro.  Janice was a longtime volunteer for the Journey Program as well as the Bier Center, where she made an impact on several young men and women, providing the guidance to steer their future into a positive direction.  Mrs. Kelly had a strong, Catholic faith.  She enjoyed going to the beach and being near the ocean.  Janice didn’t mind the cold either, as she found peace during the wintertime and enjoyed the snowfalls.  She was a fantastic Mom and will be remembered as a guardian angel to her children.

In addition to her Dad, Jack Ahern of Plymouth, Ma, Janice is survived by her children; Rachel Kelly and her partner Michael of Central Falls, Nicholas Kelly of North Attleboro and Eric Kelly of Attleboro.  She leaves behind her siblings Jack Ahearn and Joann Post.  Mrs. Kelly was the wife of Howard Kelly of Attleboro.  Janice is also survived by her nephew Ricky O’Roak.

Visitation for Janice M. Kelly will be held on Friday July 5th from 9-11am in the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross Street Central Falls, RI.  A funeral service will be celebrated at 11am in the funeral home.  Interment will be in Woodlawn-North Purchase in Attleboro, MA.
