James "Scooter" Arthur Palmer, Jr. of Providence passed away on Sunday November 13, 2022 at Philip Hulitar Hope Hospice in Providence. He was 63 years old. Mr. Palmer was the husband of Karen (Levasseur) Palmer.
Born on April 13, 1959 in Central Falls, James was the son of the late James A. Palmer, Sr. and Janet (Egan) Palmer. He graduated from Tolman High School in Pawtucket and went on to earn his certification and CDL license in the trucking industry. He worked for many years as a truck driver before an accident forced him to stop working. Prior to his injuries, Mr. Palmer's son recalls his dad being; "an extremely hard worker and powerful man."
In addition to his wife Karen and his son Jesse, Mr. Palmer is survived by his dog; Maximus.
In accordance to his wishes, cremation will take place at Western Hills Crematory in Cranston. Arrangements are under the care of The Coelho Home - Funeral Directors of Central Falls.
