James Boland Obituary

James Boland, 79 of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully at home with his wife of 25 years , Susan Robbins Boland by his side. He was born in Providence, the son of William F. and Philomena (DiLucchio) Boland. Jim graduated from North Providence High School. He was in the United States Air Force and stationed in Germany during Vietnam from 1962 - 1966 as an Air Force Policeman. Upon his arrival home he earned a Bachelor Degree in Business from Johnson and Wales University. He owned and operated North Main Jewelers from 1989  -  2018. After closing his store, he went on to become a Medical Marijuana Trimmer for OpPharm for 4 years, at which time his cancer became a losing battle. Jim loved animals, playing poker on Monday nights with his friends and swing dancing. 

Besides his wife Susan, he leaves her beloved children, Jessica and Nathan Robbins of Pawtucket and Granddaughter Evelyn Quinones. His beloved children, sons Retired USMC Master Sergeant Stephen Boland and his wife Jen, Scott Boland and daughter Stephanie Duggan and her husband Brian, 6 Grandchildren, Jillian and Sydney, Grace and Sam and Will and Kyle and 1 Great Grandson Easton, several nieces and nephews and 1 Great Niece and 1 Great Nephew. He was the brother of the late William B. Boland, Fran Carroll and Helen Kneeland, Joseph and Buddy. He is survived by survived by 4 sisters-in-law Carol, Joanne, Penny and Barbara and 1 brother-in-law Terrance Dodd.
A Funeral Service will be held WEDNESDAY, January 31st at 11 AM in the Coelho Home, 151 Cross St. Central Falls immediately followed by interment in the RI Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 3401 So. County Trail, Exeter. Relatives and friends are respectfully welcome to attend.
