Jade Dakota (Gillooly) LaBossiere

Jade Dakota (Gillooly) LaBossiere, 25, of Lincoln, Rhode Island, passed away on January 29th, after a short battle with liver disease.  Jade was born on June 18, 1997.  She was the quirky, quiet girl at Father Doyle school, who’s love for books and running defined her.  She grew into an independent young lady, who knew exactly what she wanted.  She graduated from Prout High School, and gained many life-long friends.  She will always be remembered for her sense of humor and for her smile.

She is predeceased by her father, Charles Thomas Gillooly, her maternal grandparents, Mac and Lillian Carvalho, and her Auntie Nanci Noddings. 

She is survived by her mother, Christine (Carvalho) Gillooly; her 3 siblings, Susan Tavares (Ronnie), Sean Gillooly (Melissa), and Casey Gillooly (Bill); her four children, Charlie Gillooly and Holmes, Henrick, and Snow LaBossiere; their father, Joshua LaBossierre; her partner, Jason Rainey; her many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and all that knew her and loved her.

Visitation will be held on February 8, 2023, from 5:00PM to 8:00PM at The Coehlo Home in Central Falls, Rhode Island.  Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sts. John & Paul Church in Coventry, Rhode Island on February 9, 2023 at 11:00AM.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate to Jade’s funeral expenses, and the keepsake with ashes for her children to have a piece of her with them forever.  The link is as follows: https://gofund.me/211d0abe.
