Jacqueline M. (McGinness) Zona

Jacqueline M. (McGinness) Zona, 78 of Cumberland, RI, was granted her angel wings on October 19, 2020. she was the loving wife of the late Thomas A. Zona. Born in Providence, RI, She was the daughter of the late William and Yvonne (Erno) McGinness of Central Falls. 

Jackie was a funny, quick-witted, fun loving woman , who enjoyed knitting, baking and relaxing at her home in Florida. But above all, she loved spending time with her family whom she loved dearly. She worked for Almacs for many years, staying until the very end when they closed their doors for good. Afterwards, she went on to work as a secretary before retiring.

She is survived by her four children, Kristen Poirier and husband Patrick of NH, Karen Zona and Thomas Thomson of Cumberland, RI, Thomas J. Zona and wife Maria of Cumberland, RI, and Kathryn Farrell and husband Gregory of Attleboro, MA, along with her 10 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brother William of CA, and was predeceased by her brothers, James and John.

VISITATION will be held Thursday evening from 6 until 8 PM in the COELHO HOME, Central Falls. A Funeral Prayer Service will be held on Friday morning at 10:30AM in the Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the RI Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Exeter RI. 

Social distancing is required and face masks must be worn.
