Israel Luis Torres

Israel Luis Torres 55 of Providence died August 20, 2024 at The Miriam Hospital in Providence following a period of failing health.  He was the loving father of Betzy M. Torres of Central Falls.  Mr. Torres was born on January 15, 1969 in Bronx, New York.  He was the son of Maria Feliciano and the late Luis Rafael Torries. 

Prior to his sickness Mr. Torres worked as an attendant for a gas station.  He enjoyed Hip Hop and playing video games.  Israel was a car enthusiast and loved being with his family and friends.

Mr. Torres lived in Rhode Island for over 20 years.  He also spent many years in Virginia and his native New York City.

Israel Luis Torres in survived by his daughter Betzy M. Torres of Central Falls.  Mr. Torres was the proud grandfather of Ian Rosario of Central Falls.  He was the son of Maria Feliciano and is reunited with his father the late Luis Torries.  Israel is the late brother of Elizabeth Torres of Providence and Rosie Torres of Virginia.  He is reunited with his late siblings Betzy Torries and Luis R. Torres, Jr.

Private Cremation will take place.  Arrangements entrusted to the Charles Coelho Funeral Home of Central Falls.
