Henry Howard Collins Jr. beloved husband of Jennie (Silva) Collins, passed away peacefully with his family by his side at the Hope Hospice Center in Providence after an illness. Henry was 77 years old, born in Providence, RI, the son of the late Henry H. Collins Sr. and Regina (Adams) Collins.
He served in the army during the Vietnam war. He had been employed in the construction industry for many years before retiring. He really enjoyed fishing, being with his family and loved to drive just about anywhere.
Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Henry P. Collins of Massachusetts, six daughters, Kristen, Leslie, Teresa and Tamie Collins and Sherry Rivera, all of Providence and Carol Cannal of Pawtucket. He also leaves 16 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.
His Funeral will be held from the Coelho Home in Central Falls, on Tuesday at 9 AM and burial with military honors will be held at the RI Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Exeter, RI .
Social distancing must be observed, and masks must be worn, due to the pandemic.
