Helen Matilda Willimas passed away at hope Hospice Center in providence. She was the wife of the late Manuel G. Williams, with whom she had a very good life. Helen was the mother of the late Jeannette L. (Dumond) Oakley. Helen is the sister of Joanne Glodzik, of Spring Hill, Fl. and sister of the late Francis J. Dumond and the late Donald S. Dumond.
She leaves behind her sister-in-law Doris Dumond, nieces Dawn Dumond, Lynn Scovel, Lisa Jenard, nephews Scott Dumond and Todd Dumond and the late Donald J. Dumond. Helen has two grandchildren, Deana Vermillion of West Virginia and Rhonda Tartaglia, of Ocala, Fl. and 6 great grandchildren, Jacqueline Barriere, Santino Tartaglia and the late Roger O'Brien, Stephanie Matthews, Clay Matthews and Arizona S Zervas. Helen has 3 great-great grandchildren, Scarlet, Frankie and Kit. Helen is also the aunt of Tina McDevitt, Connie Smith and Peter Gomes.
Helen was born in 1930 in Central Falls, RI to Stacia Preneta and Joseph R. Dumond. She attended St. Joseph Catholic School, Central Falls. Helen was a member of the Civil Air Patrol. She was a patron of St. Like's Church, Pawtucket, RI. Helen had lived at Blackstone Falls for many years, and most everyone knew her. She was a unique person with a happy laugh and was quick to introduce her neighbors to her family members. She will be deeply missed.
