Helen Catherine (Skorupa) Jachym

Helen Catherine (Skorupa) Jachym 94 of Cumberland formerly of Pawtucket passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025, under the care of the Philip Hulitar Hope Hospice Center in Providence.  She was the wife of the late Edward Jachym, Sr.

Helen was born in Central Falls on May 20, 1931, daughter to the late Agnes (Tomczyk) and John Skorupa.  She was a lifelong communicant of St. Joseph's Polish Catholic Church in Central Falls.  Following high school, Helen worked as a sewer as Health Tex.  She was a devoted mother, wife and grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her.

Helen is survived by her children; Sheila DiLorenzo, Darlene Jachym and Edward Jachym, Jr.  She was a proud grandmother/"Babchi" of 4 grandchildren and 4 awesome great grandchildren.

Private services were rendered in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Exeter, RI.
