Gloria Ferrinho

     Gloria Ferrinho, 98, passed away peacefully on Friday,  August 23 at Hope Health Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, RI after a short Illness. Gloria was the wife of the late John Ferrinho, and leaves her daughter, Maria J. Alves with whom she lived. She was the mother-in -law of the late Luis A. Alves.

Born in Pawtucket, she was the daughter of the late Joaquim and Maria (Santos) Gomes. She moved to Portugal as a child and returned to the U. S. with her husband in 1950 to Cumberland where they resided all their life.

Gloria worked as a textile worker for Health-Tex in Cumberland for 35 years. She was a parishioner of Our Lady Of Fatima Church, where she and her husband volunteered many years.

Besides her daughter, she leaves two beloved Grandchildren, Jessica Erskine and her husband Garrett, Jason Alves, as well as her two Great Grandchildren, whom she adored, John Luis Erskine and Kristina Rose Alves. She leaves many family and friends who will miss her dearly. She also leaves her three devoted and loved dogs, Cali, Noah and Violet.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Fatima Drive, Cumberland on Friday September 13th at 11 AM. Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Arrangements are under the care of Charles Coelho Funeral Home, Central Falls.
