Francis "Frank" Mullen Obituary

Francis “Frank” W. Mullen of Providence passed away peacefully on Friday June 2, 2023 at the Philip Hulitar Hope Hospice Center in Providence.  He was born on January 16, 1945 in Framingham, MA and was the son of the late Marguerite Dunning and John Joseph Mullen. 

Mr. Mullen was a man with an outgoing personality, a true people person.  He held an Associates Degree and had worked in the jewelry business in his younger years.  Frank enjoyed nature and being outdoors.  He also loved to read.  Before settling in Providence Mr. Mullen previously lived in Bristol, Narragansett and Pawtucket.

Frank was the father of Kristina Roberts (Derek) of Westwood, MA, Frank Mullen (Margaret) of Dedham, MA, Shannon Mullen (Glen Hughes) of Foster, Courtenay Glover (Brett) of East Providence, Kaulder Good of Providence and the late Britainey Mullen.  Mr. Mullen was the brother of John Mullen of Southwest Harbor, ME, Jean Richner (Steven) of Fort Myers, FL, Margaret Mullen of Lakewood, NJ, Charlotte Corbett (David) of Southboro, MA and the late Thomas Mullen.  Frank was the grandfather of 14 beautiful grandchildren.

Private Cremation will take place in the Western Hills Crematory of Cranston.  Arrangements are under the care and direction of The Coelho Home of Central Falls.
