Emid Lopez Lerdo

Emid Lopez Lerdo 54 of Pawtucket passed away suddenly on the morning of April 15, 2025, at The Miriam Hospital in Providence.  He was the husband of Flora H. Rodriguez. 

Emid was born in Isabella, Puerto Rico on October 24, 1970, the son of Nilda Lerdo and Emid Lopez.  He came to Rhode Island when he was 20 years old, settling in Pawtucket.  Family was everything to Mr. Lopez, whose good-hearted nature and humble ways enabled him to be a solid foundation for his children and grandchildren. 

A movie buff, Mr. Lopez enjoyed all the films of the “Fast & Furious” series.  He also loved Selena, starring Jennifer Lopez.  Emid was also mechanically inclined and was interested in anything to do with cars. 

Emid Lopez Lerdo is survived by his wife Flora H. Rodriguez of Pawtucket.  He was the proud father of Emilie Rodriguez of Pawtucket, Naomy Rodriguez of Central Falls and the loving stepfather of Michelle Morais, John Morais and Shalee Morais all of Pawtucket.  Proud grandfather of 11 grandchildren. Emid was a beloved brother to 5 sisters and 1 brother. 

Visiting Hours to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend will be held Friday April 25th from 9-11am in the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls.  A funeral service will be celebrated following the visitation.  Burial will be private.
