Elizabeth M. Gonsalves

Elizabeth M. Gonsalves, 58 of Pawtucket formerly of Providence, passed away on March 21, 2022 at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence following a lengthy illness.  She was born on September 23, 1963 in Boston, MA to Amancio Gonsalves of Florida and the late Candida (Santos) Gonsalves.

Elizabeth worked for many years as a Certified Nurse’s Assistant and an Activities Coordinator at The Little Sisters of the Poor Jeanne Jugan Residence in Pawtucket, a job that she loved very much. 

She is survived by her children; Melain Gonsalves of Newport, Kina Gonsalves of Pawtucket, Terris Gonsalves of Cranston, Lisa Gonsalves of Providence, Coran Gonsalves of Pawtucket and Jaymin Wallace of Providence.  Elizabeth leaves behind her brothers;  Joseph Gonsalves and his wife Denine of Pawtucket and Napoleon Gonsalves and his wife Laura Lopes of North Attleboro, MA.  Ms. Gonsalves was a proud grandmother of 7.  Elizabeth was predeceased by her companion the late Eugene Wallace.

Ms. Gonsalves’ life will be celebrated on Thursday March 31st from 9-11am in The Coelho Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI 02863.  Interment will follow in North Burial Ground in Providence.
