Eliecer A. Tejada

Eliecer A. Tejada of Cumberland and formerly of Pawtucket passed away at his home on January 24, 2023 with his loving family at his side.  Mr. Tejada was 70 years old.  He was the beloved husband of Luz Marina Marin. 

Mr. Tejada was born on February 24, 1952 in Medellin, Colombia to his parents; the late Jesus Tejada and Maria Delmira Zapeata.  He immigrated to the United States in 1984 and settled in Rhode Island.  Eliecer worked in the textile industry as a machine operator for T.E.A.M. Textiles Rhode Island.  His greatest work though was done as a family man.  Eliecer was a great dad and a proud grandfather.  He will be forever remembered for his sense of humor and his joy of making others laugh.  Mr. Tejada was an avid soccer fan.

In addition to his loving wife Luz, Eliecer is survived by his loving children; Joshua Tejada and his companion Yojerlis Colon of Providence, Bryan Tejada of Cumberland, Yenny Rojas and her husband Andres Osorio of Pawtucket and Shirley Marin and her companion Zacarias Hernandez.  He was the beloved grandfather of Joshua Tejada, Jr., Genisis Tejada, Nicholas Osorio, Issiac Osorio, Emma Osorio, Matthew Quintero and Rebecca Hernandez.  Mr. Tejada was the brother of Mario Tejada, Javier Tejada, Miriam Tejada and Nubia Ruiz.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on MONDAY, February  6th, 2023  in St. Jean Baptist Catholic Church,  Pawtucket at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend.
