Eleanor L. (Reid) Lunetta

Eleanor L. Lunetta (Reid) 90 of Taunton passed away on December 14, 2021 at Morton Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Warren A. Lunetta.  Mrs. Lunetta was adored by her children; Cindy Schwenzfeier and her husband Bill of Raynham, Ken Lunetta and his wife Susan of Raynham, Steven Lunetta and his wife Laura of Middleboro, Elaine Raydi and her husband Corwyn of Raynham, the late Janice Geddes and the late Warren Lunetta.  She was a proud grandmother of 11 and a great grandmother of 15.  Eleanor was the sister of Ruth Merilyn Eaton of Quincy, the late Roger Stanley Reid and the late Harry V. Reid, Jr.  Mrs. Lunetta will also be missed by several nieces and nephews.

Born on September 29, 1931 in Quincy, Eleanor was the daughter of the late Harry V. Reid and Martha Reid (Anderson).  She and Warren spent many happy years living in Hanson with their children.  Family was everything to her as she was a devoted mother and adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She was a Worthy Grand Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, an organization she was committed to.  Some of her enjoyments were knitting, jigsaw puzzles, reading and playing cards.  Her love touched all who knew her and the lessons she taught will be remembered always.

A Committal Service will be held on Monday January 10, 2022 at 11:30am in the Massachusetts National Cemetery.  Eleanor’s arrangements are under the care of the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls. RI 02863.  Online condolences may be made at www.coelhofuneralhome.net.
