Elba Perez 76 of Providence passed away on June 3, 2026 at Berkshire Nursing & Rehabilitation. She was born on January 19, 1950 in Quebradillas, Puerto, daughter to the late Narcisco Perez and Genovena Sanchez.
Ms. Perez was a graduate of beautician school, which she attended in Brooklyn, NY. She was also employed in housekeeping for several hotels.
Elba loved celebrations, especially for her family’s many accomplishments. She was proud of her family and loved spending time with them. Ms. Perez loved to dance and listening to music. Problem solving was naturally to Elba, as she was the person her family went to for advice. Her good hearted and selfless neighbor wasn’t a weakness it was an attribute as she lived and died on her own terms. Elba was also known to enjoy an ice-cold Budweiser or two.
Elba Perez is survived by her children; Oscar Roldan, Miguel Roldan, Yahira Martinez and Lydia Martinez McDaniel. She was the proud grandmother of Kashia Gratini, Roberto Martinez, Dana Rodriguez, Alexis Ramirez, Miguel Roldan, Jr., Vincent Guareno, Arianna Guareno, Naveia McDaniel, Kaylee Negron, Ulyssis Martinez, Wilfred Roldan and Imanie Roldan. Elba was the great grandmother of Aurora Sky Gratini Jamesson.
In accordance with Elba’s wishes all services will be private. Arrangements are under care and direction of the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI.
