Elaine E. (Vassar) Derosiers

Elaine E. Derosiers  76, of Grand Avenue and formerly of Attleboro, passed away Saturday after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late George H. Derosiers. She was born in Central Falls, a daughter of the late Lawrence and Esther (Welch) Vassar. She lived in Pawtucket for 30 years and previously lived in Attleboro for nearly 20 years. Elaine had been a school bus monitor for First Student Bus Co. for several years. She loved the ocean and enjoyed spending time at the beach.

 She is survived by 3 daughters, Jody Alcantara and her husband Santiago of Pawtucket, Michelle Mello and her husband Chris of Attleboro and Sheri Martin and her husband Peter of Somerset. She also leaves 2 sisters, Suzanne Balfour of North Attleboro and Donna McDevitt of Attleboro, 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Lawrence Vassar. 

A Memorial Service will be held Thursday from 4 until 6 PM in the Coelho Funeral Home, Central Falls. In lieu of flowers, donations to Pink Heals of Rhode Island  PO Box 267 West Warwick, RI 02893, would be appreciated.
