Ekaterini Zervas, 87, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully on Sunday after an illness. She was the beloved wife of the late Christos Zervas. She was born in Plevroma, Pella, Greece a daughter of the late Stravros and Maria (Grigoriadou) Gogou. She migrated to the United States in 1969 and settled in Pawtucket. She had been employed at the former Health-Tex Mfg. for 22 years before retiring. She was a faithful parishioner of The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church.
She is survived by two sons, Petros Zervas and his wife Susan, her principal care givers, of Pawtucket, and Georgios Zervas and his wife Amy, of Cranston. She also leaves a brother and two sisters in Greece, seven Grandchildren and one Great Grandson. She was the mother of the late Starvros Zervas. Mrs. Zervas' greatest pleasure was enjoying her family, especially her Grandchildren and her Great Grandson.
Her Funeral will be held on FRIDAY, February 7th, 2020 at 12:30 in the afternoon from the Coelho Home in Central Falls, with a Funeral Service at 1:30 PM in the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Greek Orthodox Church, 97 Walcott Street Pawtucket. Burial will follow at Walnut Hill Cemetery, Armistice Blvd. Pawtucket. Relatives and friends are respectfully welcome to attend and may call at the Funeral Home on Thursday, 5 until 8 PM.
