Douglas "Papa Bear" Miller

Douglas Miller 69, of Pawtucket, Passed away peacefully at home with his family by his side, last Monday. He was the husband of Wendy J. Stott.  Douglas was born in Sommerville, MA a son of the late Harold and Beatrice (Kelly) Miller. He had been employed as a furniture mover for several years for Chris Corrigan Moving Co. before illness forced his retirement. He was an Army veteran of the Vietnam war., he enjoyed motorcycling, Wood carving and was an accomplished furniture maker.

Besides his wife, he leaves two sons Corey D. Stott Miller and Joshua Godsoe both of Pawtucket, two daughters, Shayna Stott Miller and her husband Joao Goncalves of Central Falls and Colleen Miller of New York and three Grandchildren, Gracie, Sariah and Remedy. He also leaves a sister Randi Kolseth of No. Carolina and two nieces Amie and Nora.He was the father of the late Dustin G. Stott Miller.and the brother of the late Seth Kolseth.

Services were private due to the current pandemic.
