Dionilde Povoa of Pawtucket, formerly of Warwick died June 7, 2024 at Philip Hulitar Hope Hospice in Providence. Ms. Povoa was 88 years old. She was born on July 5, 1935 in Alcobertas, Portugal.
Dionilde did not regularly attend weekly Mass however, she had a strong Catholic faith. She worked at The Morning Star Bakery for several years prior to her retirement. Ms. Povoa enjoyed getting together with her friends for coffee and to visit. She was a kind yet private person.
Dionilde Povoa leaves behind her daughter Diane Granja of Pawtucket. She was the proud grandmother of Jalen Sherman. Dionilde was the sister of several brothers and sisters. Ms. Povia is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A private cremation will take place. Arrangements are entrusted to the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI.
