Deidre Gomes Brooks

     Deidre Gomes Brooks, of Pawtucket, passed away peacefully surrounded by those she loved most on February 12th, 2024 at the Miriam Hospital in Providence. Deidre was born in providence on January 28th, 1963 and was the daughter of Blanche Gomes.

    She was kindhearted .and had a giving soul. She was a devoted member of Grace Church in East Providence for over 10 years until her illness prevented her from attending regularly.

     Deidre Gomes Brooks is survived by her husband Raymond Melia of Pawtucket. She was the loving mother of Joe Brooks III of Lincoln and Ryan Melia of Arizona. Deidre was the loving sister to Richard Gomes Jr. of Pawtucket, Donnell Gomes of Cranston, Ruth Gomes of Florida and Lisa Rutledge of Texas. She was the Grandmother of Joe "Joey" Brooks IV and was a proud great Grandmother. She is also survived by several in-laws, cousins, nieces and nephews.

                                        Private Cremation was under the care of the Charles Coelho Funeral Home of Central Falls.
