Darlene (McLaren) Leyland

Darlene Leyland 62 of Providence formerly of a longtime resident of Pawtucket passed away on May 18, 2025 at Philip Hulitar Hope Hospice Center.  She was born in Waltham, Massachusetts on March 2, 1963 to Marilynn Stanhope of Central Falls and the late Walter McLaren. 

Darlene had been living in Providence for the past years however, spent most of her life living in Pawtucket.  She was a dedicated homemaker and Mom. Ms. Leyland had a strong faith and was a devout Christian.

In addition to her mother, Darlene is survived by her daughter Danene Alicia McLaren of Pawtucket.  She is reunited with her son the late Dana T. Leyland.  She was a grandmother of 3, Justice, Divine and Zion McLaren, and a great grandmother of Bella Rose McLaren. Darlene was the sister of Donald and Daniel McLaren both of New Hampshire and the late Douglas McLaren.

Arrangements are incomplete at this time.  Announcement of services will be made when confirmed.  Charles Coelho Funeral Home of Central Falls as been entrusted with services.
