Daniel J. Angelone Sr., of Pawtucket RI, passed away peacefully at his home in The Villages, Florida on March 25th, 2021 at age 73. His last days were spent resting comfortably surrounded by family and friends. He was the son of Angelo and Marietta Angelone (Russo). He is survived by his wife Mary “Betty” Angelone (Lowe), two sons Michael Holgate and Daniel J. Angelone Jr., daughter-in-law Sarah Holgate (Curley), two granddaughters Emma and Bethaney Holgate, and a loving family and many great friends.
Dan worked at Fram/Autolite/Bendix in East Providence from 1979 to 1995 until the plant closure. Dan attended an engineering program at New England Institute of Technology and graduated in 1996 with an Associate Degree. He worked for both EMC and GTECH Corporations through 2012. Dan was an avid shooter and a member of Manville Sportsman’s Rod & Gun Club (Lincoln, RI), Cumberland Beagle Club (Cumberland, RI), and Stony Brook Gun Club (Lincoln, RI).
Dan and his beloved wife Betty retired to The Villages in 2013, where Dan continued to enjoy shooting, joining several local clubs, as well as enjoying many of the activities his new homestead had to offer.
There will be a funeral mass on Friday, June 11th at 10am at Saint Mary’s Parish on 103 Pine Street Pawtucket, RI 02860, followed by a procession to Saint Francis Cemetery at 163 Smithfield Ave, Pawtucket RI.
