Dana Thomas Leyland lifelong resident of Pawtucket died on April 19, 2023 at Rhode Island Hospital in Providence. Dana was 39 years old. He was born on July 5, 1983 in Pawtucket, the city he called home for all of his life. Mr. Leyland was the beloved son of Darlene Leyland of Pawtucket.
Mr. Leyland worked in the restaurant industry for several years; most recently he was employed as a line cook at Chili’s on North Main St. in Providence. He had an infectious personality and a great sense of humor.
In addition to his loving mother Darlene, Dana is survived by his beloved sister Danene McLaren. He was the favorite uncle of Justice McLaren, Divine McLaren and Zion McLaren. Dana was also the proud great uncle of Bella McLaren. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the care and direction of The Coelho Home of Central Falls.
