Colvin Ayala Yambot of Central Falls formerly of New York City and originally of Puerto Rico passed away on May 11, 2024 at Woonsocket Health Center. Mr. Ayala was 86 years old. He was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico on June 5, 1937, son of the late Margarita Yambot.
Mr. Ayala had been living in Central Falls for the last 6 years after coming from his native Puerto Rico. Previously he had lived in New York City for several years. Some of his enjoyments in life were playing the congas, playing Dominos in the park and bike riding. He loved to exercise and especially enjoyed playing paddleboard. Mr. Ayala was a talented musician and lyrics writer, as well as being extremely artistic. Colvin was also a car enthusiast, loved cooking and going to the beach.
Mr. Ayala is survived by his 10 children, 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren.
A private viewing was held for Mr. Ayala. Cremation will take place in Western Hills Crematory in Cranston. Arrangements are under the care of the Charles Coelho Funeral Home in Central Falls, RI.
