Colette L. (St. Pierre) Bora sadly passed away on Thanksgiving November 28,2024 in North Providence at the Lincolnwood Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, where she had a long battle with Dementia. She previously resided in Cumberland and Pawtucket.
She was the daughter of the late Pierre and Mary (Gregoire) St. Pierre. She was the wife of the late Edward J Bora and companion of the late Herbert Bates.
Colette was born on March10,1936 in St. Hyacinth, Quebec, Canada and later settled in Central Falls.
She was a seamstress and loved working retail at JC Penney where she retired at 75 years old receiving many awards for her customer service excellence.
Colette loved bingo,cards,jigsaw puzzles and mostly loved Broadway theater at PPAC.
She is survived by her daughter, Gisele Pailthorpe of Pawtucket and her son, Ronald Bora of Ashford, CT, her sister Pierrette Farley of Bristol, RI. 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
She was predeceased by her daughters Linda Dubois and Denise Bora, her granddaughter Crystal Dubois and 6 siblings
Her family would like to thank Lincolnwood and Harmony Hospice for the loving and compassionate care she received with them. She will be sadly missed.
A service of remembrance will be celebrated on Saturday, December 28,2024 in the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross Street Central Falls from 1-3pm. Burial will be private.
