CORRECTION

Charles E, Whalen Jr. better known to most as "Chuck", passed away peacefully on Sunday after an illness. He was the beloved husband of the late Beverly Marie (Oliveira) Whalen who predeceased him 17 years ago. He was born in Pawtucket, a son of the late Charles E. Whalen Sr. and Mary (McDevitt) Whalen of Lincoln, RI. He was raised in Lincoln, RI, and later was graduated from St. Raphael Academy, Pawtucket in 1959. He then attended Providence College and then persued his lifelong ambition of Photography. Charles E. Whalen was awarded several accolades for his photographic excellence.

After retiring from photography, he became a popular talk radio host on Providence radio stations and enjoyed the challenge.

Chuck leaves no immediate survivors, but appreciated the loyal friendship of Denine and Joe and his high school friend, Charlie.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held TUESDAY AT 9 at St. Anthony's Church, Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Interment will follow in the family lot at St, Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket..
