Catherine Perez Obituary

Catherine B.M. Perez, 75, of Pawtucket died on Friday, September 10, 2021 at the Kent County Hospital in Warwick. Born June 19, 1946 in Greenock, Scotland, she was the daughter of the late Terrence and Mary Daly.

As a young woman, Catherine was passionate about travel and finding a home of her own, she made her way to the United States in the late sixties and eventually found her way from Mansfield, MA to Rhode Island. A Medical Receptionist, she understood the importance of kindness and efficiency thanks to her position at Dr. Kerzer's office in Cranston, a position she held for nearly 12 years. She was a loving mother and made sure to share her heritage and customs with her children despite their American upbringing.

Ms. Perez is survived by her children; Donald P. Paiva and Kimberly Diaz, both of Pawtucket; as well as her best friend and third child, Chai. She was predeceased by her parents and her granddaughter, Catherine Cote.
