Carolina Del Socorro Ortega

Carolina Del Socorro Ortega, 78 of Central Falls, Passed away peacefully at Rhode Island Hospital after an illness. Carolina was born in Medellin, Colombia, daughter of the late Antonio Ortega and Reina Diaz Ortega. She had migrated to Philadelphia, PA 34 years ago and has lived in Rhode Island for the last 30 years.. She had been employed at the former Pontiac Textile Mill in Cumberland for more than 25 years retiring in 2010.

She is survived by two sons, Robinson Londono of Central Falls and John Londono of Florida and her daughter Jessica Londono, with whom she lived.  She also leaves a brother, Rodrigo Ortega, two sisters, Nelly and Amparo Ortega all of Colombia, two Granddaughters, Izabella Torres and Cassandra Londono, nieces and nephews.

At her request, services were private art the convenience of the family
