Carmen Rosa Ayala

Carmen Rosa Ayala of Pawtucket passed away on the morning of August 4, 2025  surrounded by her loving family.  Ms. Ayala was 71 years old. 

Carmen was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico on September 6, 1953 and was the daughter of the late Amparo Suarez and Primitivo Ayala.  She came to Rhode Island in 1984 and worked for several years as a factory worker before becoming a full-time homemaker and caretaker.  Ms. Ayala was a special person who possessed a kind heart and held her family together through thick and thin. 

She will be loved, and her memory will live on forever. 

Carmen Rosa Ayala is survived by her daughters, Carmen Diaz Ayala and Laura Rivera.  She was a proud grandmother of 9 and a great grandmother of 8.  She is also survived by her sisters. Carmen Lopez and Normaedie Bernnaves. 

Calling Hours to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend will be held on Saturday August 9th from 3-6pm in the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls.
