Carlos Arturo Martinez Garcia

Carlos A. Martinez Garcia, 73, formerly of Central Falls, Passed away peacefully at his residence in Providence. He was the son of the late Pablo Emilio Martinez and Rosa Elisa Garcia. He was the husband of the late Maria Rosalba Mejia. He has lived in Rhode Island many years.  He had been employed in the food service industry in Colombia for many years before migrating to the United States.

He is survived by his son Smithson "Smitty" Martinez of No. Providence, Adiela Gonzalez, a lifelong friend, his grandchildren, Angelyna Martinez, Kallie Poulin and Anabel Martinez and Alexandra Martinez, as well as his sister Lilian Lopez of Arizona and 4 other siblings all in Colombia and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Gathering for Carlos in the Charles Coelho Fuineral Home, 151 Cross St. Central Falls Friday evening from 5 until 7 PM. Burial will be private, at the convenience of the family.
