Carlos Antonio Chavez Martinez

Carlos Antonio Chavez Martinez 28 of Providence, formerly of Central Falls died suddenly on November 27, 2025, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Carlos was born on May 15, 1997, in Tlalnepantla De Baz, Mexico and was the adored son of Carlos Chavez and Martha Martinez.  He was a graduate of Central Falls High School and attended Bryant University.  Mr. Chavez was currently working in the quality control department of a packaging company, with the goal of going back to school to study business, as Carlos was an entrepreneur at heart.

Cooking was an enjoyment for Carlos, and it was matched perfectly with his love for eating.  He had a passion for gaming and music.  Carlos was very close to his family and had a contagious happy way about him.  He had a heart of gold and would help anyone. 

Mr. Chavez is survived by his parents Carlos Chavez of Central Falls and Martha Martinez of Providence.  He was the beloved brother of Luis Chavez Martinez and Yair Chavez Martinez.  He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.

Visiting Hours to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend will be held from 9-11am on Saturday December 6th in the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI 02863.  A funeral service will celebrated at 11am in the funeral home.  Procession to North Burial Ground in Providence will follow where committal prayers and burial will be rendered.  

Carlos Antonio Chavez Martínez, de 28 años, de Providence, anteriormente de Central Falls, falleció repentinamente el 27 de noviembre de 2025 debido a las heridas sufridas en un accidente de automóvil.

Carlos nació el 15 de mayo de 1997 en Tlalnepantla De Baz, México, y fue el querido hijo de Carlos Chávez y Martha Martínez.  Se graduó en Central Falls High School y asistió a la Universidad Bryant.  El Sr. Chavez trabajaba actualmente en el departamento de control de calidad de una empresa de envases, con el objetivo de volver a estudiar negocios, ya que Carlos era un emprendedor de corazón.

Cocinar era un placer para Carlos, y encajaba perfectamente con su amor por la comida.  Tenía una pasión por los videojuegos y la música.  Carlos estaba muy unido a su familia y tenía una forma contagiosa y feliz.  Tenía un corazón de oro y ayudaría a cualquiera. 

El Sr. Chavez deja en vida a sus padres, Carlos Chavez de Central Falls y Martha Martinez de Providence.  Fue el querido hermano de Luis Chávez Martínez y Yair Chávez Martínez.  También le sobreviven varias tías, tíos, primos y familiares lejanos.

Las horas de visita, a las que familiares y amigos están cordialmente invitados, se celebrarán de 9 a 11 de la mañana el sábado 6 de diciembre en la funeraria Charles Coelho, 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI 02863.  El servicio funerario se celebrará a las 11:00 en la funeraria.  Seguirá la procesión hacia el Cementerio Norte en Providence, donde se realizarán oraciones de enterramiento y enterramiento.
