Burt Whiting Obituary

Burt Wallace Whiting of Woonsocket passed away at his home on February 18, 2026 at the age of 80. Mr. Whiting was born at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis, Massachusetts on January 31, 1946, son of the late Frances (Newcomb) and Edward Whiting.

Mr. Whiting served our country Honorably in the United States Navy. He worked as a commercial fisherman for several years.

Burt is survived by his loving daughter, Christy Bixby of Woonsocket.

All services are being held privately. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Charles Coelho Funeral Home of Central Falls, RI.
