Brian Thomas Carney

Brian Thomas Carney 64 of Pawtucket passed away suddenly on Saturday November 12, 2022 at the Day Kimball Hospital in Putnam, CT from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.  Mr. Carney was born in Warwick on September 20, 1958 and was the son of the late Thomas E. Carney and Celia Petit. 

Mr. Carney was a proud veteran of our country’s Army National Guard, serving from 1976 to 1996, earning the rank of Staff Sergeant.  He worked in the energy field for over 30 years.  Brian had a true love for his Harley Davidson, as some of his greatest friends were made and happiest memories came while riding his bike.  He also loved going to Café Ordway in Pawtucket and The Forester’s Club. 

Above all, Brian was a great family man and he was an especially gifted Dad and Grandfather.  Mr. Carney is the beloved Dad of Kyle Carney, Jeff Carney, Olivia Carney, Chelsea Still and Jake Still.  He was the proud grandfather of; Alexis, Jackson, Addilynn and Brody.  Brian was the loving companion of Lesley A. Collins.  He was the brother of Christine Danesi and Kathleen Grimley.  Brian is also survived by his former wife and friend, Pamela Curtner..

Visitation for Brian will be held on Tuesday November 22^nd from 9-11am in The Coelho Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI 02863.  Interment with Military Honors will be held at 12:30pm in the RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery 301 South County Trail in Exeter.  Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
