Blanche Louise Bliss

Blanche L. Bliss, 62, passed away Sunday November 24 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Providence, a daughter of Otis Bliss of Providence and the late  Blanche (Briggs) Bliss. Blanche was a Certified Practical Nurse and worked in Foster Care Services. She was also the Step Daughter of Jane Curt. She had been a member of Christ Temple in Providence.

She leaves a daughter, Latoya Bliss and her husband Rodney Brown  of Providence, three sons, Corey, Bruce and Ronald Bliss all of Providence.  She also leaves 5  brothers, , Phillip Bliss, Joey Stanton, Otis Stanton, Otis DeCosta and Jason Curt all of Providence; five sisters, Doreen Smith and her husband Wayne, Janine Bliss, Valerie Chapman, Debra Curt and Lashawn Briggs and her partner Ebrima Gaye, all of Providence. She was the sister of the late Coutney Reels. She also leaves 32 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

VISITATION in the COELHO HOME, Central Falls Friday, December 6th from 5 until 8 PM.  A Repass will be held on Saturday December 7th, from 12 until 6 PM in the Indian Council, 807 Broad Street, Providence. 02907
