Betty (McCommon) Belanger

Betty Belanger 80 of Central Falls passed away peacefully under the care of her son Mark at home.  She was born on December 14, 1945, in Warwick, daughter to the late Mary McCommon.

Betty was raised and educated in Warwick, graduating from Pilgrim High School.  After moving on from Warwick, Betty and her young family lived in Florida and Arizona.  She also lived in Woonsocket and Providence during her time in Rhode Island.  Betty worked for Bickford’s and Howard Johnson’s as a waitress.

Ms. Belanger is survived by her son Mark Belanger of Central Falls.  She is reunited with her late children, April Hayden and Robert Belanger.  Betty was a proud grandmother of 6 and a great grandmother of 4.
