Bernal Galicia Gomez

Bernal Galicia Gomez 49 of Everett, Massachusetts passed away suddenly on October 28, 2025, at CHA-Everett Hospital.  Mr. Galicia was the beloved father of Emily Gabriela Galicia Cardona and Pola Fernanda Galicia Cardona and the husband of Virginia Cardona De Galicia.

Bernal was born on June 15, 1976, in Pedro de Alvarado, Moyuta Jutiapa, Guatemala to Pedro Galicia and Rutilia Esperanza Gomez.  For the past 13 years, Mr. Galicia was a beloved member of the team in the cafeteria at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, so beloved that 200 people passed through the hospital to pay their respects when it was learned that Bernal was sicken ill. 

Mr. Galicia is survived by his daughter Emily Gabriela Galicia Cardona and Pola Fernanda Galicia Cardona of Guatemala.  He was the brother of Vinicio Galicia, Jose Galicia, Giovani Galicia, Evganligina Galicia, Hulda Galicia, Veronica Galicia, Patricia Galicia, Marco Tulio and the late Denis Galicia.  Bernal was the uncle of several nieces and nephew and is survived by several uncles, aunts and additional relatives.  

Visitation to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend will be held on Saturday November 15th from 2-10pm in the Charles Coelho Funeral Home 151 Cross St Central Falls, RI 02863.  Burial will take place in Jutiapa, Guatemala.
