Armando Merced Vazquez

Armando Merced Vazquez Jr., beloved husband of Luz Torres, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family, last Friday. He was born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, a son of the late Armando Sr. and Carmen L. Vazquez. He has lived in Rhode Island for the last 19 years.

He had been employed in the construction industry before retiring due to illness. He was member of 'Christ is Our Rock' ministry..

Besides his wife he leaves two daughters, Rosa Merced of Buffalo, NY and Christina Merced of Texas; two sons, Armando Merced III  of Cranston and Luis Merced of Providence. He also leaves five sisters, Wilnelia Merced de Medina and Beatriz Merced both of Providence, Magdalia Merced and Carmen Merced both of Pawtucket and Wanda Merced of New York; two brothers, Victor Merced and Miguel Merced both of Puerto Rico.  He was the Grandfather of eight and uncle to several nieces and nephews .

Visitation will be held Wednesday morning, from 9 until 11 Am in the Coelho Home in Central Falls, A Funeral Service will follow.
