Ana Maria Nogueras passed away last Saturday at the home of her daughter in Attleboro, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late Raul Nogueras who predeceased her in 1996. Born in Barcelonita, Puerto Rico, a daughter of the late Brigido Cortes and Luz Maria Albaladejo. She had lived in Providence for several years before moving to Attleboro 11 years ago. Ana and her husband Raul were founding members of Casa de Oracion Getsemani, formerly located in Central Falls and now on Park Street in Pawtucket.
She is survived by 5 daughters, Janet Gonzalez of Warwick, Evelyn Acevedo of Central Falls, Alicia Mendez of Providence, Abigail Rodriguez of Attleboro, with whom she lived and Judith Perez of Cranston; 5 sons, Pedro Nogeras of Providence, Eliut Nogueras of Florida, Samuel Nogueras of Providence and Pastor Eliseo Nogueras also now of Florida. She was also the mother of the late Raul Nogueras and Ida Luz Nogueras.
She also was the beloved Grandmother of 35, Great Grandmother of 68 and Great Great Grandmother of 25.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday in Casa de Oracion Getsemani, Park Street Pawtucket at 11 AM. Interment will follow in Swan Point Cemetery, Blackstone Blvd. Providence.
