Alexis Vargas Robles

Alexis Vargas Robles, a resident of Pawtucket formerly of Florida passed away on September 24, 2022 at Rhode Island Hospital.  Mr. Vargas was 66 years old.  He was born in Yauco, Puerto Rico on February 18, 1956, a son of Manolo Vargas and Ramona Robles.

A devote Christian, Mr. Vargas had been living in Rhode Island since coming from Florida 9 years ago.  He was a talented auto mechanic and enjoyed his family. 

A loving father; Alexis is survived by his sons Jesus Vargas of North Attleboro, MA and Alexis Vargas, Jr. of New Jersey.  He was the brother of Manuel Vargas of Puerto Rico, Atilano Vargas of Pawtucket, Edwin Vargas Robles of Pawtucket and Elizabeth Vargas of Cumberland and the late Marisol Vargas.  Mr. Vargas was the proud grandfather of Roberto Lopez and Jesus Gabriel Vargas.

Visitation will be held from 9-11am on Saturday October 1, 2022 in The Coelho Home 151 Cross St. Central Falls, RI 02863.  Cremation and Inurnment will follow in Woodlawn-North Purchase Crematory and Cemetery in Attleboro, MA.
