Alejandro Paz 50 of Fall River, Massachusetts passed away suddenly on December 31, 2024, at St. Ann’s Hospital in Fall River. Mr. Paz was the beloved father of Aleksandra Paz and Devin Paz, both of Fall River. Alejandro was born on June 28, 1974, in Acapulco de Juarez, Guerrero, Mexico and was the son of Teresa Silva de Paz and Alberto Paz Medina.
Prior to settling in Fall River 25 years ago, Mr. Paz lived in California and Providence, Rhode Island. Alejandro was a dedicated tractor trailer driver for 22 years, working for Fed Ex for the past 13 years; each year being awarded as the company’s “Safe Driver Award”. He was incredibly talented with anything he set his mind to, especially mechanically and working around his homes. Alejandro could build or fix anything, a true jack of all trades. He loved cars and maintained them meticulously. His talents extended to music, as he was an experienced Bass player and was a member of a band in Mexico.
Alejandro was a man of many passions. He took pride in his sixty-gallon fish tank and the many beautiful fish that he collected over the years. Music was a major part of his life and when we wanted to be, he was a great dancer. Mr. Paz loved being with his friends and enjoying a few cold beers, Corona in particular. He was a giver and possessed a gigantic heart. His heart belonged to his children, and he was a magnificent Dad and provider. Alejandro lived for his kids and gave the world to them.
Alejandro Paz is survived by her children Aleksandra Paz and Devin Paz of Fall River. He was the brother of Arturo Rocha Silva of California, Teresa Paz Silva and her husband Jose Luis Uribe of Mexico and the late Francisca de la Rosa Silva. Mr. Paz was the beloved uncle of Leticia Medina Paz, Erica Cecilia Gonzalez and Jose Luis Medina Paz. Alejandro is also survived by his girlfriend Sandra Santos of Fall River.
Visitation to which relatives and friends are cordially invited will be held on Sunday January 5, 2025, from 4-7pm in the Boule Funeral Home 615 Broadway in Fall River, Massachusetts. A prayer service will take place during the visitation. Arrangements are entrusted to the Charles Coelho Funeral Home of Central Falls, Rhode Island.
