Thomas A. D'Agostino, 71, of East Providence, passed away at Roger Williams Medical Center, surrounded by his family, after an illness of 10 months. He was the devoted husband of Veronica (Testa) D'Agostino and had been married for 34 years. He also was the beloved father of Jesse D'Agostino also of East Providence.
He was born in Providence a son of the late Emelio and Olympia (Ferra) D'Agostino. Thomas had lived in Cranston until moving to Riverside 34 years ago. He had been employed as a shipper for the former B. A. Ballou Co. and also had been a machine operator for the Gem Case Co. of Cranston. He was a 3rd Degree Knights of Columbus of the Council # 1528 of East Providence. He was also an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Mr. and Mrs. D'Agostino had been Foster Parents for 10 years and he was a dedicated Foster Father. He loved his family and was very proud of his son Jesse. Besides his wife Veronica and son Jesse, he leaves a brother, Ronald D'Agostino and a sister Elaine Paone and her husband Thomas, both of Cranston and nieces, nephews and many friends.
He will be sadly missed by all.
